Mindfulness TMS Title I Night

Join us before the Middle School Band Concert which starts at 6:30 p.m. for 6th Grade

What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness means paying full attention to something. It means slowing down to really notice what you’re doing. Being mindful is the opposite of rushing or multitasking. When you’re mindful, you’re taking your time. You’re focusing in a relaxed, easy way.

What will our family be doing at this event?
Great question! You will be eating dinner (pizza…yum)! You will get a chance to win cool door prizes! You will get the opportunity to practice mindfulness.

How will we be practicing mindfulness?
You will learn all about mindfulness through breakout sessions such as yoga with Miss Parish, making Guatemalan Worry Dolls, doing some creative journaling, using adult coloring books, and learning all about anxiety coping skills.
