The Business Office is located in the district administration building at 301 East Spruce Street. The office is responsible for all district financial transactions which include purchasing, accounts payable, investments, and payroll. In addition, the Business Office manages all employee benefits, district assets, and tax collections.
The district’s fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30th of each year and provides an annual budget while working with the Board of Directors and Central Administration. These and proposed budgets can be viewed in the right menu bar and are separated based on fiscal year.
Our district is audited annually by an independent firm which verifies that the Business Office has complied with all local, state, and federal laws. These audits can be viewed in the right menu bar and are separated by fiscal year.
Lastly, the Business Office is required to file an annual financial report (AFR) with the Pennsylvania Department of Education following each school year. This report is a more detailed report based on the annual audit and includes line items such as: revenues, taxes, funding sources, expenditures, and object codes. The AFRs are also provided in the right menu bar and are separated by fiscal year.
