Titusville Police Department

Basic Law Enforcement Training Program

The Titusville Police Department will be hosting a summer program for Titusville Area School District students currently in grades 9 through 12. This program will be held at the Titusville Middle School.

The goal of this program is to educate students with an interest in the criminal justice system on law enforcement and building a positive relationship between the local police department and youth.

This program will cover the process of becoming a police officer in the state of Pennsylvania, basic law enforcement knowledge, physical fitness, handcuffing techniques, among other various confidence and self-esteem building exercises.

We will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a starting time of 8:00AM and ending at 2:00PM. This will take place during the month of July.

It is the Titusville Police Department’s goal to educate and assist students with an interest in law enforcement by hosting this program.

Participants are encouraged to bring water, a packed lunch, and to dress appropriately.

Those interested or have any questions are encouraged to contact Officer Dave Brooks at SRO@gorockets.org. Department
