pumpkinfest1Oct. 27th - There were a lot of characters at Hydetown during our school "Pumpkin Fest"...We had a great fall time including a costume contest judged by Mr. McGaughey (who got to meet his soon to be incoming 6th graders for the first time!) and Erik Nikolaison (the Hydetown VFD chief) and Miss Hydetown ! Prizes were awarded for the prettiest, scariest, most original and funniest costumes in each grade level.

Following their contest each grade level traveled outside to our special trail lit with ghostly luminarias made by 4th grade and completed tasks to earn tickets which were deposited in their class' scarecrow pumpkin bucket. The winning class (Mrs. Elan) will be having a yogurt party soon!!!

It was a great fall night and everyone had a wonderful time...Can't wait for next fall to see what new characters appear.
