Freshman ice cream social a success

icecreamThe ninth graders of THS's Freshman eXpress enjoyed their first recognition gathering on Friday, October 30th when they spent their 9th period directed learning class in an ice cream social in the cafeteria.  The social was to recognize all the students in the freshman class who go through the grading period doing what is expected of them without normally receiving any attention for it.  Those students were rewarded with ice cream served by their teachers, the principal and vice principal.
