IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Updated October 19, 2009

PUBLIC MEETING TO BE HELD ON FLU VIRUS

The school district is sponsoring a public meeting on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the middle school cafeteria.  At this meeting there will be local doctors, school and department of health officials providing detailed information regarding the recent concerns over the H1N1 Flu Virus and its impact on our community.  Parents and the public in attendance will be provided information on prevention and what to do if your child or someone in your household develops flu-like symptoms.  District officials will also review with those in attendance what prevention measures have been undertaken and what the status of the receipt of the flu vaccinations is at this point.

The Titusville Area School District has pre-registered as a potential H1N1 Flu Vaccination Clinic.

To date we have not received official word from the PA Department of Health that we will be receiving the vaccinations.  Our administration and school nursing staff are continuing to prepare for the operation of a clinic in the event that do receive word that the vaccinations will be distributed to our site.

If we receive notification that our site has been approved, we will be forwarding information to all parents.  In the meantime, if you would like more information, please visit the websites listed below.
